Funny thing happened yesterday...

The show last night was at the Ohio State Fair. I got there pretty early, and was hanging out outside of the building that Alice was going to be playing at. There was a marquee and a few signs outside that said "TONIGHT: ALICE COOPER". So, anyway... I'm sitting there, kind of people watching, and two itty bitty elderly ladies are walking by. One of them says to the other, "Alice Cooper!?!?! Why, I wouldn't go see HER if she were across the street! Her or that Britney Spears! I just can't stand Britney Spears!"

*laugh*
I can only wonder who in the world she had mistaken Alice with....? ("Who do you think we are...?").

The show last night was interesting.... It kinda bums me out that Eric Dover dropped off the tour. Ryan held down fort, though, and it was still a great show. They've also made a few set list adjustments from the previous shows that I've seen on this tour.

I'm counting down the days now... FOUR days until I drive to Chicago to see Alice Cooper, for the first of the five shows I'm going to on the tour this year. Then Saturday is St. Louis, and Sunday is Merrillville. Three weeks after that, Columbus and then Ft. Wayne. I'm getting so excited that I'm making myself sick to my stomach. haha.

Next week is also going to be kind of depressing. Garrett is leaving to go on tour for almost a month. Which means that I'll be home all alone. I hate staying by myself. I get paranoid that someone is going to break into the apartment or something. Silly, I know. But its true. Last time he was gone for an extended amount of time, there was one night where I woke up from a nightmare and couldn't get back to sleep because I was SURE that there was someone in my apartment. Stupid of me, yes, but I really can't help it. So I'm not looking forward to him leaving. Besides... three weeks is a long time for me to go without seeing him. At least I have some Alice Cooper shows to go to in that time period to keep me busy.

I don't really have anything else to say. I just thought I'd better write something in here eventually. So there you have it - my first REAL Xanga entry.
